Tvs Creon: The Future of Connected Electric Bikes

A Premium Riding Experience with Innovative Technology

Tvs wanted to launch a connected electric bike with an integrated interface that helps monitor, navigate, provides insights on battery health and provide a fast e-bike riding experience. The requirement was to have a user interface for the cluster installed on the bike dashboard that is visible in all conditions and a supporting connected app for mobile through which the user can interact with the cluster app.

Tvs Creon connected e-bike, designed by Netbramha Studios, offers a premium and cruise bike riding experience like no other. With its innovative design and cutting-edge technology, it sets a new standard for connected electric bikes.

The key feature of the Creon e-bike is its integrated interface, known as the Cluster app, which is installed on the bike dashboard. This app provides riders with real-time information on battery health, trip history, and bike location. The Cluster app is designed to be visible in all lighting conditions, ensuring that riders can easily access the information they need at any time.

In addition to the Cluster app, the Creon e-bike also comes with a connected mobile app. This app allows users to interact with the Cluster app, sync data, and access additional features. Riders can set up navigation, track and monitor the overall health of the bike, and even lock and unlock the bike using the mobile app.

The design of the Cluster app and the connected mobile app was driven by user experience and usability. The interface is designed to be easily digestible, with information presented in a clear and concise manner. The visuals and interactions are carefully crafted to cater to users of all ages, with a particular focus on the trendy 18 to 26-year-old age group.

Netbramha Studios adopted a multidisciplinary approach to design the Creon e-bike, incorporating graphic design, interaction design, usability, ride experience design, and mobility design. This holistic approach ensured that every aspect of the design was carefully considered and optimized for the best user experience.

The Creon e-bike was realized using service design thinking, process design, user empathy and research, design thinking methodology and sprints, and prototype testing. This rigorous design process allowed Netbramha Studios to create a seamless and intuitive user interface that meets the needs and expectations of riders.

The Creon e-bike and its accompanying apps were designed for Android and iOS phones with screen sizes ranging from 4.5 inches to 6.5 inches. The design specifications were carefully tailored to ensure optimal performance and usability on these devices.

Throughout the design process, Netbramha Studios conducted extensive research, including interviews with teenagers, TVS key product stakeholders, and IoT development teams. This research helped the design team gain insights into user workflows and functionality requirements, which were then incorporated into the design.

One of the main challenges faced by the design team was creating an interface that is both trendy and premium while being visible in all lighting conditions. The design needed to be simple and elegant, providing only the relevant information to the rider, especially while in motion. Through prototyping and constant review with stakeholders and end users, Netbramha Studios overcame these challenges and created a design that meets all requirements.

The Tvs Creon connected e-bike was launched to the public at the Auto Expo 2018. Its innovative design, advanced technology, and exceptional user experience have garnered recognition and accolades. The design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category in 2019, a testament to its well-designed, practical, and innovative nature.

With the Tvs Creon connected e-bike, the future of electric bikes is here. It offers a premium riding experience, seamless connectivity, and advanced features that set it apart from other electric bikes on the market. Get ready to embark on a new era of electric bike riding with the Tvs Creon.
